While Parthenon assumes that Principals arrive with the basic MBA skill set, it provides a formal training program to develop specific job skills. Principals begin their Parthenon experience with a training program in which they learn Parthenon’s approach to strategic analysis, work planning, Associate management and client relationship development.
Over the course of a Principal's tenure, training is supplemented
with additional seminars on more complex elements of Parthenon’s
work. However, the most intensive training occurs on the job where
Principals learn to address a broad array of business problems in a
multitude of industries, while receiving support from senior members
of their case teams. Parthenon Principals are also each assigned to
a mentor who is a more senior member of the consulting staff for help
and support.
