Anthony Tjan

Vice Chairman

Mr. Tjan joined Parthenon in 2001 and serves as the firm's Vice Chairman; he also previously served for five years as a Senior Partner. He is CEO and Managing Partner of The Cue Ball Group, a private investment firm focused on information media and consumer businesses. In 1996, he founded the pioneering web development and services company, ZEFER (now Niteo Partners of NEC), where he was a driving force behind the company's vision and growth to more than 800 people. Mr. Tjan holds an A.B. in Biology from Harvard College, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and was a Belfer Center Fellow at John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Mr. Tjan is also a recognized thought leader in the business arena and is a World Economic Forum Global Leader of Tomorrow. He has a regular blog on Harvard Business Online and is a frequent contributing author to several publications, including the Harvard Business Review, where he co-authored one of their most popular customer strategy articles, "Transforming Strategy One Customer at a Time.” Mr. Tjan will publish the book "Heart, Smarts, Guts and Luck" with Harvard Business School Publishing in 2012.
