Ms. Mikulec is a Senior Advisor specializing in strategy and planning in the areas of business growth platforms, marketing, and brand building for consumer-facing companies. Prior to joining The Parthenon Group, Ms. Mikulec spent over 25 years in marketing and advertising working across a wide range of industries, largely with major multi-national companies. She has held client-side marketing positions that span from health and beauty aids/personal care to the fast food industry. Ms. Mikulec started her career at Alberto Culver and, just prior to moving into consulting, held a senior-level position at McDonald’s in Global Marketing as the Senior Director of their global strategic platform for health and wellness. Prior to McDonald’s, Ms. Mikulec spent the greater part of her career in advertising with DDB Worldwide Communications Group’s flagship Chicago office. Her agency-side experience was heavily focused on top-tier consumer-marketing oriented clients including General Mills, SC Johnson Co., Anheuser Busch, Wrigley Co., and Maybelline Cosmetics. She rose to Senior Vice President running a client group that included Unilever and Sara Lee, as well as heading up the agency’s Beauty/Personal Care new business development group and held a position on the DDB Chicago Management Council. Ms. Mikulec earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University.
