What did you do prior to The Parthenon Group?
I was a consultant at a boutique strategy firm in Boston. Before business school I worked as a middle and high school administrator, teacher, and baseball coach.
Why did you select The Parthenon Group?
A combination of the right work and the right people. Parthenon provided, by far, the best opportunity to work with a group of smart, interesting, committed, and fun people on projects that make a real difference in our clients’ lives and businesses.
What types of clients/industries have you worked on at The Parthenon Group?
While I’m focused on work in the Education Practice, the breadth of industry clients provides an extremely rich and varied learning experience. Working with school districts, for profit education companies, foundations, and post-secondary institutions creates broad and deep expertise across the education landscape that benefits clients regardless of their particular role in the industry.
What stands out about the type of work you are engaged in at The Parthenon Group?
Working at very high organizational levels with our clients on their most important and strategic issues is extremely satisfying.
What can you tell us about the people and culture at The Parthenon Group?
This is huge. The culture is distinct – positive, fun, smart people with very high professional standards, delivering the best value to our clients. That’s a powerful combination.
Do you have any interests or hobbies outside of work?
Being a husband. Finding new ways to satisfy my two-year old daughter’s endless curiosity! Biking, especially as part of Parthenon’s Pan Mass Challenge team.
